Changing Places at the NEC
The UK’s top events destination, the NEC in Birmingham, has become even more accessible, with the opening of its latest Changing Places facility.
‘The NEC welcomes 2.4million visitors and hosts 500 events every year- including Naidex, which is Europe’s most established event dedicated to the independent living and healthcare industries,” explained the NEC’s Senior Even Manager Julie Kimpton, who chairs the venue’s Accessibility Operations Committee. “As a venue, we are constantly evolving, and are determined to optimise our facilities to meet, and surpass, the needs of events and visitors alike. The Changing Places outside Hall 2 means that people who need the extra resources such a facility brings them can be assured that there is an enhanced accessible toilet facility within a practical distance.”
